The Online Faculty Orientation is an online course facilitated over 4 weeks in the Canvas. It covers published best practices for designing and teaching online courses. Topics include online pedagogy, course design, assessment, communication, interaction, course technology, learner support, accessibility among others.

Who Should Take This Course?
Faculty members who plan to teach online courses must complete the requirements prior to teaching online. This course provides evidence of FSU’s compliance with the Interregional Guidelines for the Evaluation of Distance Education, part of NCSARA Requirements.
